Beta code input

Input text is Beta code, using any Greek or Latin characters and any escape. Output can be plain text or rich text (HTML or RTF).

Beta to fonts

Convert a Beta coded text into plain or rich text encoded with any font. For instance, you could convert Beta code into HTML or RTF Unicode by setting as output fonts Gruni (for Greek) and Times New Roman (for Latin).

  1. select fonts as output;
  2. select the fonts to be used for Greek and Latin text in the output, using the Beta options pane. There you can also set other Beta code parameters, and even select a rich format as output (HTML or RTF), so that fonts change and formatting will be adequately treated;
  3. convert some text in the test pane or a set of files from the File menu.

Beta to transliterated Greek

In a Beta-coded text all the appropriate Greek characters are transliterated into their corresponding Latin-based Beta-coded text. Thus, in this case both input and output are Beta-coded, but alphabets change.

For instance, the words $*MH=NIN A)/EIDE QEA/ will be output as &Me%26`=nin a/e%27`ide%27` the%27`a/.

  1. select transliteration as output;
  2. eventually customize a few parameters in the transliteration options pane;
  3. convert some text in the test pane or a set of files from the File menu.
