Windows Mobile Software
Here you can find an overview of some freeware Windows Mobile software I've created for my
fun or utility. To download these programs you must first sign up (it's free!). All these
applications use the DotNet Compact Framework (version 2.0 or 3.5) and are built to be
no-frills utility tools.
Titus
Titus is a tiny epigraphical companion I've written for my archaeological tours.
Take notes on some interesting spot, copy an inscription logging its position
with your GPS-enabled device, quickly lookup the commonest Latin and Greek epigraphical
abbreviations, convert between ancient measurement units, find Roman emperors,
browse and convert among the most known Classical world eras, and more: all in your
pocket!
Iris
The most mundane of these programs, Iris is a tiny SMS program with some unique
or fun functions.
Use customizable rules for automatically shrinking your SMS messages and keeping them
under the 160-characters limit, send encrypted SMS messages and automatically decrypt
them upon receive, variously alter your text in fun or exhotic ways (mirror,
Caesar-cipher, etc.); quickly compose SMS messages picking them from custom presets,
browse your sent messages, etc. For both English and Italian.
